In order to achieve this, Naruto would play pranks all around the village and even go as far as to strive for the rank of Hokage. Even after graduating from the academy, Naruto was still determined to be recognized. Though as Naruto made more and more connections with others, his reasons for wanting to become Hokage underwent a change, having less to do with the desire for recognition, and more to do with wanting the strength to protect his home and the people close to him.

History/Background Story: Naruto is the son of the fourth hokage Minato and Kushina Uzumaki. He is named after a main character of one of Jiraya's books and that makes Jiraya he's godfather. The reason he has the nine tails is that it attacked konoha and since Minato was the hokage at that time he had to save the village he did that by sealing the fox in he's own son and after using the jutsu Minato died so Naruto has never known any of he's parents. Naruto is hated by almost every single person in konoha because he is the jinchuriki of the nine tails and the town fears the demon fox that means that naruto has been alone up untill now. After he began at the academy he started to make some friends and after he graduated he made even more friends so he has some strong bonds now.
